Mardi Gras Galveston

The Houston Auto Show continues this weekend at NRG Center. See more than 700 of the newest model year import and domestic vehicles, classics, extreme dirt road kings, luxuries and more. True fans will love the specialty section called “Seldom Seen Classics.” See more details.
ChocoLoco 5K 10K
Chocolate fans will rejoice with the ChocoLoco 5K 10K on Saturday morning. The run starts in Uptown Park and winds its way through the Galleria. Post-race festivities include many local vendors and there’ll be plenty of delicious chocolate choices. See more details.
Memorial Villages Farmers Market
The weather should be perfect for a visit to Memorial Villages Farmers Market, held weekly on Saturdays, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., First Congregational Church. You’ll find excellent fresh produce, flowers, meats and dairy. Plus there’s a playground for kids, educational programs and entertainment for the whole family. See more details.
