Carolyn and Michael Connelly renewed their vows in Vienna after 50 years of marriage.

It was a year ago when Michael Connelly planned a magical celebration for his 50th wedding anniversary to Carolyn Connelly. The three-week trip to Prague, Budapest and Vienna included renewal of their vows Dec. 27 at the Christ Church, on their actual anny. A Danube cruise during Christmas market was topped with a grand New Year’s Eve Silvesterball in the Hofburg Imperial Palace. They waltzed with Oklahoman friends Dale and Eleanor Wilkerson among entertaining opera singers and ballet dancers. Carolyn wore that gown to celebrate again with 200 friends at the River Oaks Country Club in January. She and Michael floated on air to the Dave Caceres Band as their friends gave celebratory toasts.
