The Lamar Women’s Lacrosse team participated in the 2016 Aggieland Classic Lacrosse Tournament on Feb. 6-7 in College Station, Texas. The varsity and junior varsity teams participated in the tournament. The Aggieland Classic is the last of the pre-season warm-up tournaments before regular season play starts. Teams come from high schools and junior high school teams from across Texas.

The Lamar team is made up of girls from Lamar High School, DeBakey High School for Health Professions, St. Pius X High School, High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and Glenda Dawson High School in Pearland.
