Twenty-six board members of the American Bridge Association joined Evelyn and Dan Leightman at their home for dinner the night before the Leightmans’ Super Bowl party for 75 people. It was a last minute bid in a masterful play. Just before the Super Bowl party started, Leda and Mike Karchmer drove up in their refurbished red 1958 Ford Skyliner, a souped-up surprise.
