Each year the Environmental Science class at St. Thomas’ Episcopal School has a t-shirt sale to raise money for a charity of their choosing. This year the class chose the Galveston Bay Foundation.
The Galveston Bay Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 1987 to preserve and protect Galveston Bay.
The goal of the Environmental Science class is to raise $1,000 to adopt a Galveston Bay dolphin. Each person that buys a t-shirt will have their name entered into a raffle, and the winner of the raffle gets to name the dolphin. Each shirt is $20 dollars and the students are allowed to wear their shirts to school on Earth Day.
