Abstract
When Houston artist Joseph Cohen met the future cultural arts manager for the city of Sugar Land, Lindsay Davis, four years ago, a picture-perfect merger was bound to happen. They were wed at sunset April 30 in the garden of the Montebello. Friends held a canopy chuppah covered with tallises that once belonged to Joseph’s grandfather and great grandfather. The couple was entwined in Joseph’s father’s (the late Ron Cohen) tallis as Rabbi Scott Hausman-Weiss chanted the blessings. The parents of the couple, Mirl Cohen and Celeste and Bruce Davis, witnessed the masterpiece creation. The couple will honeymoon in picturesque France.
