My name is Cali, short for California, but they only call me California when I’m being bad. My mom and dad bought me from a breeder who lives in West University. My original name was Purple Girl, and I was supposed to be a gift for Cara. Everyone still calls me Cara’s dog, but I’m really everybody’s dog. Life is pretty good; I get walked a lot and I get tons of Dingo bones, and everyone can’t keep their hands off me because my coat is so silky. I’m a picky eater, but I love it when my mom makes sweet potatoes. I love Friday nights, and I always know when it’s Friday because I get challah. Millie is a Miniature Schnauzer, and she’s 7 years older than me. We are the best of friends, and even though she weighs only 8½ pounds, she still bosses me around. Life doesn’t get much better than going to the ranch in Conroe with our dad every weekend.
