Hogan and Nelson
My name is Hogan (on left), and this is Nelson (on right). We are English Setters. People stop to ask if we are twins while we are out walking, but Nelson is from Dripping Springs, and I am from northern California. He is 4 years old, and I am only 3½! Don’t ask me why, but we are named after the Texas golfing rivals Byron Nelson and Ben Hogan. Nelson and I have a lot to live up to, since English Setters are considered by some to be the most beautiful dogs in the world. So whenever we greet someone, we have to act the part, sitting perfectly and posing for pictures. But when we are home, we ditch the act, wrestle, bark and play constantly, and if something has sentimental value, we just have to chew it up. We really don’t ever mean to be bad. Did I mention we’re beautiful?
