Danielle Mulcahy, Shannon Hoffer

More than 200 partiers and supporters of Evelyn’s Park boarded Wave buses to see four gorgeous homes, part of the 2016 Bellaire New Home Showcase in a private setting with special cocktails and gourmet food trucks. The proceeds of the Wine. Dine. Design. On Wheels benefits Evelyn’s Park. The showcase continues this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, and you can vote for People’s Choice Award.

Oh my Gogi! At the first stop at 4532 Elm Street by RG Homes Custom Builders, Danielle Mulchahy and Shannon Hoffer enjoyed Korean/Mexican food and light food bites by It’s A Wrap. Guests enjoyed the ambience by the pool and stunning waterfall as music from a trio from Ezra Charles drifted outside. This home, determined by five judges, won best Master Suite, Best Kitchen, Best Interior design, Best Landscaping and Best of Show. Sessy’s Sweets was very sweet.

While some partiers sipped on Galilee Wines and dined on Foreign Policy & Muilishi Makirritos to the music of RT Project, others were getting lost in the largest master closet probably in all of Bellaire at the beautiful Brookstone Home on 5404 Pine St.

Musical notes by Steve Ferrell and Mike Jump and the smell of Java coffee from Java Road and Katz Coffee greeted the guests including Denton Ragland, John and Dede Loughran as they entered 5103 Grand Lake by Bentley Homes, which shared a Best Overall Design with RG Homes.

Sonya Tise, Brian Lavorini

The last and memorable stop was at the Bentley Custom Home at 110 Whipple. Upon entering the large open space, Craft Burgers and La Table bites and a Tipsy Dessert Bar with alcohol infused sorbet welcomed late arrivals. Guitarist Todd Corson provided the atmosphere where Sonya Tise and Brian Lavorini reminisced about their recent Puerto Morales escape to Secrets when Brian proposed to Sonya. It was a happy ending to the evening.

Other volunteers and patrons included Lori Cohen, Tyler Emerson, Scott Doctor and Evan Burrer, Pamela Bercutt, Lauren Blachman, Terry Leavitt-Chavez, Jan Pappert, Lisa Kornhauser, Kathy Dreyfus, Belinda Schmidt and Sheryl Weinstock.
