The Houston Symphony is hosting a free day-long event showcasing dozens of free performances and family-friendly activities.

Day of Music

The Houston Symphony is hosting a free, day-long event this Saturday featuring dozens of performances and activities. Musical groups will perform rock, classical, jazz, blues/soul, salsa and more. There’ll be an “Instrument Petting Zoo” and more fun activities for the whole family. See more details.

Christmas in July 5K

Get in the Christmas spirit a little bit early and spread “holiday cheer” by participating in the Christmas in July 5K for a great cause. The race starts at the Salvation Army Greater Houston Area Command in downtown and finishes with a post-race party. Proceeds go to Salvation Army’s programs. See more details.

Brick Fiesta

LEGO lovers, make sure you head over to the Brick Fiesta Public Exhibition on Saturday and Sunday to explore the 32,000 sq. ft. area of LEGO creations. You’ll see a massive train, city and space layouts, works of art and more. See more details.

Dancing Dogs at the Children’s Museum

This Sunday, see dogs dance with their trainers all afternoon at the Children’s Museum fo Houston. You’ll also have the opportunity to win free admission to the Houston World Series of Dog Shows. See more details.
