This summer, Robert M. Beren Academy students did a wide array of activities ranging from going to sleepaway camp, staying home, working at day camps, touring different countries and taking family trips. I caught up with a few students to discuss what they did this summer and how they felt about going back to school.
Bracha Teigman, an incoming junior, spent the summer working at a day camp. She said, “Summer is a huge relief after the stressful AP and finals season. Although going back to school is a stressful, seeing your friends and getting to learn again is worth it.”
Tali Miller, a sophomore, worked at a day camp for part of the summer and also went on many family trips. “I am very excited to be going back to school. I missed seeing my friends and can’t wait for an exciting year!”
Noah Diner, a freshman, went to sleepaway camp for a month and also spent a week in Israel. “I am starting high school this year and that is very exciting and scary. I can’t wait for this year to begin, but I will miss being able to sleep in.”
As a whole, Robert M. Beren Academy students were excited to be back for this amazing school year, although a lot of the summer perks will be missed.
