Find Your Sunshine Benefit Concert
Students from The Emery/Weiner School, Lamar High School and Bellaire High School have worked together to plan the second annual Find Your Sunshine Benefit Concert. The concert, which takes place this Sat. evening, is in memory of Joan Triestman, who passed away from Ovarian Cancer. Proceeds will go to ovarian cancer research. See more details.
Kids’ Book Festival
Friends of the Houston Public Library is hosting its Kids' Book Festival on Saturday and Sunday at The Health Museum. The festival will include more than 30,000 books to choose from, plus family-friendly activities such as a Balloon Artist and Face Painter, writing activities and a raffle, a Storybook Costume Contest, storytelling and more. Beyond the Pines
This family-friendly music festival in The Woodlands on Saturday will feature Aaron Watson, Reckless Kelly, Shooter Jennings, Lukas Nelson, Uncle Lucius, James Otto, Parker McCollum, Flatland Cavalry, and many more.
