Chase Gray

Fifth-grade Astros fan and avid baseball player Chase Gray (pictured) enjoyed a home game at Minute Maid Park. Watching the Astros play is one of Chase’s favorite activities, especially when he goes with his fellow Hurricanes teammates. Chase plays centerfield, shortstop and pitcher for the Hurricanes, a select baseball team. In addition to playing year-round with the Hurricanes, he also plays with Bellaire Little League (BLL) during the spring season. He loves playing with his friends and meeting new players each season, but the best part of the game might be the post-game concessions and dinner out with what seems like the entire city of Bellaire. Chase’s love of baseball started in his first season with BLL at age 5, but his parents suspected it much earlier when his first word was “ball.”
