Stormy
It’s been 11 days, and I’m still trapped here in the storm drain. I know some very nice people have tried to help me four times, but they are so big and I am so small. It’s too scary. I’m so hot, tired, hungry and thirsty. Wait ... what is that intoxicating smell? I hear the humans calling it tuna fish. Whatever it is, I’m in! The next thing I know, a huge net scooped me out of the drain and into a cloth carry bag. But I’m okay as long as they keep giving me tuna fish. Someone said they were going to give me a bath. I wonder what that is? Now, I’m clean, safe and dry. The vet said I am healthy even after my ordeal. Now I have a happy, loving, new home and will never go in the storm drain again!
