John Waldo Richards was born to the tune of 9 pounds and 3 ounces on Nov. 20 to the glee of parents Emery and Neal Richards, who met in the Memorial High School orchestra. This is the first grandchild for David and Connie Gullickson and Brad and Amy Richards. In a family tradition, “Jack” (as Neal calls him), or “John” (as Emery prefers), is named after three grandfathers. His room is decorated with their photos and other family members. Since Neal is a lawyer and Emery is a litigator, who will decide the interpretation of Jack or John?
