Lily, age 10

Hello, everyone. My name is Lily, and I am a 10-year-old Brussels Griffon. My “two-legger” mom rescued me from the National Brussels Griffon Rescue when I was 3 months. My new dad was ill, but I was his loyal companion for three years, sitting in the chair while he read or lying next to him when he was feeling punk. I was sad after he died, but then I had a new job – looking after Mom. Fast forward to my fifth birthday.  I got a new dad, who I love very much. My pet sitter taught me to sit, stay, spin, roll over and to play hide ‘n’ seek. Sometimes I go to The Gathering Place with Mom to do my tricks and let the clients pet me. My favorite activities are walks with my parents and curling up next to them in bed. Life is good!
