They met their sophomore year of college in January of 2010 when the University of Alabama played The University of Texas in a national-championship game. Taylor Hendrix later proposed to Alabama belle Lauren Miller. At their wedding at the Cathedral of Saint Paul Catholic Church in Birmingham, Ala., they served a signature cocktail, the famous “Yellow Hammer,” a familiar drink on Alabama game days in Tuscaloosa. Their parents, Mark and Susan Hendrix and Johnny and Annette Miller, agree that, from courtship to marriage, it was a grand touchdown.
