It’s not an April Fools’ joke – the 2017 Covenant House Texas Gala, themed Let Them All Eat Cake, will take place April 1 at the Omni Hotel. Volunteers are planning a night of French fun and whimsy. Gala honorees are Julie and Jay Rogers and IBC Bank. Covenant House Texas has been helping homeless and runaway youth under the age of 21 with shelter and services for more than 33 years.
