Picnic in Memorial Park

More than 350 supporters of Memorial Park Conservancy gathered for the annual Green Gala. The evening celebrated the progress of the Master Plan, which is underway in the Park’s Eastern Glades, in addition to the one-year anniversary of the Conservancy assuming day-to-day management and operation of Memorial Park. The evening was emceed by Linda Lorelle, former evening anchor on ABC 13. The Forest Club prepared a Southern-comfort menu packed in wicker picnic baskets. The attire – “no ties” – added to the casual vibe, and guests danced to DJ Damon Pampolina. The evening raised more than $325,000 for Memorial Park Conservancy.
