50 years later

Around 200 old pals gathered for a BBYO reunion. They reminisced about their teen years spent together in the group at the Doubletree-Greenway Plaza. BBYO (formerly B'nai B'rith Youth Organization) is a movement to involve Jewish teens in Jewish experiences. Edward Stone (who lives in Dallas now) and Houston's Marsha Pearlman Bernstein organized the reunion. Guests came from 10 states. Bill and Sharron Fisherman traveled the furthest, from Anchorage, Alaska. Other travelers were Marty Morris and Mike Blum, who live in McAllen, and Sondy Pepper Lillebo, who lives in El Paso. Also in the mix were Golda Susie Golub Krumholz (Austin), Patti Levinson Maltz (Georgetown) Ricki Gerger (Washington D.C.). Pictured (top row, from left) are Judy Salmon, Judy Simon, Charlotte Goldberg, Gerger, Phyllis Rochlin, (front row, from left) Barbara Glave, Sally Pehr, Susan Speer, Terri Wathen, Libby Marvins and Sandy Harris.
