DePelchin celebrates
Laura Bellows (head of W.S. Bellows Construction and a former travel writer for The Buzz) and Emily Crosswell helped celebrate DePelchin Children’s Center 125th birthday. They attended the Family Ever After Gala at the Marriott Marquis. More than 550 supporters helped raise more than $1.2 million. The chair was Bellows, and the executive committee was Pam Brasseux, Crosswell, Pam Lovett and Flo McGee. Underwriting co-chairs were Laurie Dorfman, Anne Duncan and Susan L. Padon. DePelchin opened in 1892 as an orphanage.
