What do you do when a friend or family member suffers a death? A conversation with Sheryl Sandberg, COO of Facebook and author of Option B, was held with a sold-out crowd at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church. Sheryl told her journey after the sudden death of her husband, Michael Goldberg, two years ago when her children were 7 and 10. A helpful hint she shared was not to ask How are you? Instead ask How are you today? Valerie Koehler, owner of Blue Willow Book Store, was instrumental in putting the event together with the help of Greater Houston Women's Chamber of Commerce president Suzan Deison. Frances Rubin, Mary Beth Staine, Jodie Gonzalez and Sue Smith enjoyed the nuggets of wisdom.
