When you stroll down Tanglewood Boulevard, you witness a wide array of people making great use of the peaceful pathway. The two-mile gravel track features folks of all ages coming and going at different speeds. Some walk, others run, but all of them seem to enjoy the beautiful, tree-shaded trail. We caught up with a few Buzz residents as they trekked down Tanglewood.

As we walked down the path, we noticed the great variety in the patrons of the park. Lissette Bazan was exercising during her work break. “I enjoy the ambience of the park,” said Bazan. “It helps take my mind off running.”

Others, such as Raymond and Madi Falcon, were walking their dog. “This is the only place Bear [Raymond’s dog] will use the bathroom,” said Falcon with a laugh.

No matter the purpose of the visit, Tanglewood Park offers a peaceful trail, pleasant scenery and all in all, a safe place to take a stroll.

We featured Tanglewood Blvd. - and the "Boulevard Buddies" - in our very first issue of The Tanglewood/River Oaks Buzz back in Jan. 2006. Read the story here
