Eli Maierson first recognized his love for writing in second grade, when he would draw and write comic books with his friends. Years later, this love for writing propelled him to join his high school’s newspaper The Review, where he’s since become the Senior Assignments Editor. He believes that journalism is an incredibly important component of our society, and that the importance of being a well-informed person cannot be understated. Thus, he is very excited to participate in the School Buzz program and intern at The Buzz over the summer. He is from Houston and he attends St. John’s School. He enjoys playing tennis, reading and watching old movies. He is also an avid basketball fan.
