Wonder-ful robotics
Rummel Creek Elementary school students participated in a Wonder Workshop Robotics club. The kids learned how to program robots and experimented with designing circuits. They designed their own “upcycled” robots using recyclable materials and developed stories about what the robots could do. The team worked together to solve different robotics challenges. The club was created by RCE mom Mary Carvalho (pictured), who is a former statistician for NASA and shared her love of programming. The students are (pictured, from the top) Massimo Brichford, James Hobson, Mary Carvalho, Felipe Carvalho and Lorenzo Brichford.
