When life gives you lemons
When 11 teachers from Frostwood Elementary School lost everything in Hurricane Harvey, students including (pictured, from left) Mark Feldhaus, Stefano Ferrier, Giovanni Cristini, Lauren Chang, Tizita Cristini, Franco Ferrier, George Standige, Johnny Brown, Alec Feldhaus, Jack Brown, Marco Ferrier, Lilly Johnson, Roman Chang and Kai Feldhaus gathered to help. They held a lemonade stand over Labor Day weekend in Fonn Villas to raise money for the teachers. NPR stopped by to interview the kids as they served chilled lemonade to community members, faculty and friends. The stand raised $1,800 for the teachers. “The kids wanted to do something to help their beloved teachers and this was their way of doing it,” said mom Jennifer Cristini.
