Han Solo proposes

They met in New York City in 2012, in the gym of their building. It turned out that Alison Israel from New Jersey and Houstonian Austin Hoffman lived on the same floor. This summer, Austin told Ali they were going to see Indiana Jones, his favorite movie. He staged the whole movie, with real tickets, sign and other movie-goers (who turned out to be photographers). Little did Ali know that this movie would forever change her life. When Austin ducked out to “the bathroom,” a movie trailer that he had made of himself dressed as Han Solo on the Millennium Falcon came on the screen. As Austin reached for his pocket on the screen, he came into the theater and got down on one knee and popped the question to Ali. They will have a destination wedding in 2018. Excited parents of the couple are Arlene and Marshall Hoffman and Jodi and Arthur Israel.
