Honk for the Astros!

“Honk for the Astros!” so says the sign on the front yard of Joe Garbo’s front yard. And, over the last few weeks, his family has heard lots of honks.

This isn’t the first occasion in which Joe, who’s in the medical profession, has adorned his yard with these large, colorful signs from Event Yard Greetings. He’s also had signs up for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. And if you peer inside his home, you’ll see Halloween decorations as well as décor already up for the holiday season. “Why wait?” he laughed.

There’s a chance Joe will get an opportunity to watch the game at Minute Maid Park but said he will probably watch the game with his son, Sam, at home. “This is more fun,” Joe said, gesturing to the honking cars passing by on the street.
