2018 Lunar New Year Festival
Celebrate the Lunar New Year at the Chinese Community Center’s annual Lunar New Year Festival on Saturday. The festival includes cultural performances, Dragon and Lion Dances, a marketplace with Asian street-style foods, arts and crafts, vendors, cultural exhibits and workshops, and more.
Lunar New Year Bash at the Children's Museum of Houston
Learn about Lunar New Year traditions as The Children's Museum of Houston celebrates the Year of the Dog with lion dancers, martial arts and interactive performances on Sat., beginning at 10 a.m.
Market in the Park
Evelyn's Park is hosting Market in the Park on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. Browse through a collection of vendors and enjoy being outdoors in the park.
Wine on the Green
Head to The Water Works at Buffalo Bayou for a day of wine-tasting, music, food and fun on Saturday beginning at 3 p.m.
Wiener Dog Races
Bring your four-legged friend to see the 2018 Wiener Dog Races at Sam Houston Race Park, hosted by All Texas Dachshund Rescue, Saturday starting at 6 p.m.
ReelAbilities Film Festival
The ReelAbiliities Film Festival will screen 14 films, beginning this Sunday through Feb. 22. Each film features an interactive event to facilitate dialogue between the audience, filmmaker, parents, professionals or persons with disabilities and to explore the subjects depicted in the film.
