The Houston Junior Forum recently held its annual fundraiser, Conversations from the Heart. Honorees this year were Gary and Mopsy Andrews, for their longtime volunteer efforts. This year’s guest speaker was Dr. Renu Khator (pictured, at right, with chair Debbie Berner), chancellor of the University of Houston System and president of the University of Houston. Ernie Manouse, senior producer for Houston Public Media, was master of ceremonies and guest interviewer. Forum president Karen Hardin and Berner and her committee welcomed the 400 guests with a silent auction, raffle and lunch.
