Support for musicians

Edward and Rini Ziegler, David and Viviana Denechaud and Lillian and Cyrus Irani, along with nearly 350 others, gathered at Jones Hall for the Houston Symphony’s annual Wine Dinner and Collector’s Auction chaired by Elizabeth and Alan Stein. The black-tie event began with a cocktail hour, during which guests enjoyed hors d'oeuvres and perused the Collector’s Auction. The evening’s honorary chair was Beth Madison,  auction chair was Bob Weiner, and committee members included Ann Ayre, Dr. Devinder Bhatia, Darlene Clark and Edwin C. Friedrichs, Ron Holley, Dr. I. Ray Kirk, Helen and Jim Shaffer, Rebecca and Chad Spencer, Dr. Tom D. Nichols and Robert Sakowitz. The event raised nearly $570,000 for education and community activities for the musicians of the Houston Symphony.
