Maddison, age 12

Hi there! I'm Maddison. My people sometimes call me Mad or Big because I am both. I am a senior collie, and my early life wasn't great, but luckily I was adopted a couple of years ago and now am ruling our house. Generally I'm pretty happy relaxing in front of a western on TV. I don't like thunderstorms and will try to hide away from them, but I'm too big to get under the bed unfortunately. I'm getting a bit stiff from arthritis, so my walks are slower than they used to be, but I still get excited when I see squirrels and forget to limp when I chase them. I'm really fond of kids, and I like to walk right up and say hello. Collies are sheep dogs, and sometimes I even try to herd people. There are not very many sheep on Dryden, so I have to keep my skills current.
