Priceless trip
Donna and Harry Price had already enjoyed Botswana and South Africa so much they decided to visit Kenya and Tanzania. During the 14-day trip they saw the Big 5 (elephants, lions, leopards, cape buffalo and rhinos). Many of the animals were pregnant or giving birth, and they saw lions mating, as well as at a wildebeest kill where hyenas and vultures were feasting on the kill. On a balloon ride over the Serengeti National Park, they looked down and saw giraffes, wildebeest and elephants, all with babies, migrating while lions slept nearby. When they toured the Maasai tribe’s villages and schools, they learned the Maasai are noted as one of the tallest people in the world, with an average height of 6’3”. No “lion.”
