Turn Up with Your Pup
Today, June 22, is now “Turn Up with Your Pup Day” in the City of Houston, a day dedicated to raising funds for the Houston SPCA. Celebrate and raise funds for a great cause with your four-legged friend today starting at 3 p.m. in East Downtown. This free event will include BBQ, drinks, games, a photo booth, silent auction, a doggie pool for your BFF to splash around in, and more.
Rainbow on the Green
The ninth annual free Rainbow on the Green event at Discovery Green takes place on Friday evening starting at 6 p.m. Headliner will be Deborah Cox, a Grammy Award-nominated R&B artist and Broadway star; Latin singer Edward Salles, making his U.S. debut; The Patternist, an emerging electro pop artist; and more.
Houston LGBT + Pride 2018
The Houston LGBT Pride Celebration Festival and Parade starts at 12 p.m. on Saturday beginning at Smith and Lamar followed by a festival downtown.
Starlight Movie Night at Historic Rice Stadium
Hang out on the field at historic Rice Stadium on Saturday night and enjoy a free movie on the videoboard. E.T. will be presented starting at 8 p.m. Free snacks and water will be provided and there will be food trucks available.
Karbach Art Market
Shop local vendors in the Biergarten at Karbach Brewery on Sunday starting at 12 p.m. There will be live music, local eats and art vendors.
