Learning from the best

Westbury Soccer Club’s World Cup summer camper River Dai (pictured, at right) ran down a ball, while Rivers Terry and Kyle Tang (pictured, from left) tried to defend. The players had the opportunity to attend the camp and be coached by professional players on the Houston Aces women’s soccer team. Coaches Natalia Ariza, Tatiana Ariza and Isabella Echeverri are also Colombian women’s national team players and have played at multiple World Cup and Olympic games. Held at Bayland Park, the World Cup Camp gave experienced players the chance to work on technical and tactical components of soccer with seasoned professionals, while having fun and being exposed to role models.
