Wilchester weekend getaway

A group of 18 men from the Wilchester neighborhood gathered in Concan, Texas, for their second annual weekend of floating the Frio, volleyball and golf. A group of 18 men from the Wilchester neighborhood gathered in Concan, Texas, for their second annual weekend of floating the Frio, volleyball and golf. The quartet of Cade White, Geoff Treadway, Kyle Fletcher and J. Ellis won a Friday golf scramble. Despite a lost phone and spilled coolers of beer, fun was had by all on Saturday floating the Frio River. Saturday night brought “ultra-competitive” 9 vs. 9 volleyball played exclusively below the net. Food was catered by Nora’s Tacos of Sabinal (voted Best Queso Flameado – Uvalde County 2007).
