A speedy group of age 5/6 girls (pictured) proudly represented the West University Piranhas swim team at the Southwest Aquatic League (SWAL) Championship Finals. Ten Piranha girls in the youngest age group qualified for finals, including seven who swam with the team for the first time. The swimmers earned several honors at the final meet, including first place in the 25-yard freestyle event by Claire Koush and first place for the 5/6 girls medley relay team: Addie Olson, Adara Eissa, Hadley Hall and Claire Koush. Under the direction of head coach Erin Johnson, the young Piranhas at the finals are (top row, from left) Emery Le, Lyla Davis, coach Meredith Betti, Adara Eissa and coach Katie Garcia; (bottom row, from left) coach Eliza Holt, Claire Koush, Addie Olson, Caroline Cozart and coach Cate Urbani; not pictured: Hadley Hall, Julia Rodriguez, Madeleine Cresap and Ryan Atha.
