Fandemic Comic Con Tour, a comic pop culture convention experience, takes place at NRG Center Friday-Sunday. You’ll find guests from TV shows such as The Walking Dead, Grey's Anatomy, This Is Us and Gossip Girl as well as many comic book creators, illustrators, pop culture vendors and more.
Houston Ballet Presents An Evening of Stars
Houston Ballet will present An Evening of Stars, an evening length gala-styled program featuring Houston Ballet's highest-ranking dancers, at Miller Outdoor Theatre Friday and Saturday. Audiences will enjoy excerpts and grand pas de deux selections from some of the most recognizable and beloved classical ballets like Romeo and Juliet, Swan Lake and Don Quixote as well as excerpts from Raymonda, Sons de L’ame, Spring Waters, The Ladies and Stanton Welch’s latest world premiere Just.
The Texas Taco Music Fest takes place at Discovery Green on Saturday. There will be food, music and live art to raise money for cultural programs.

Bayou City Music Series: The Soundtrack of the Gulf
Bayou City Music Series: The Soundtrack of the Gulf featuring Annika Chambers, CJ Chenier and Archie Bell takes place on Saturday night at The Water Works in Buffalo Bayou Park.
The Houston Barbecue Festival and Saint Arnold Brewing Company is hosting the 4th annual Houston BBQ Throwdown featuring 14 of Houston's best barbecue restaurants competing to create the next great barbecue dish that represents Houston-style barbecue on Sunday afternoon. Sample BBQ and Saint Arnold beer.
