The community gathered at Evelyn’s Park on Sat., Oct. 13 for the inaugural Local Music Festival in the Park. Neighbors brought lawn chairs and blankets and enjoyed live performances from local music groups during the all-day free festival. The performers spanned a variety of ages and genres including jazz, strings, swing, rock and R&B, dance, theatre and more. Families enjoyed food from local restaurants and food trucks, plus Skeeter’s Beer Garden, where the Astros game was televised live.

Betsy’s by Adair Concepts will open at the park this fall. See Evelyn’s Park’s Facebook page for all upcoming events at the park.
