Live Music in Houston This November
November is busy, but if you’re looking to escape the holiday stress, a concert is a good way to let go and forget for a few hours. Treat yourself!
Nov. 1: Christina Aguilera @ Smart Financial Centre
Christina Aguilera, coach on The Voice, has long been known for her killer vocals. If you’re going to this concert, beware that Christina has cancelled a few of her shows on this tour in an effort to rest her vocal chords.
Nov. 3: Lady Antebellum @ Smart Financial Centre
For my country/pop fans! Lady Antebellum ventured into the Top 40 a few years ago, but they have always been a staple among country fans.
Nov. 3: Ed Sheeran @ Minute Maid Park
This is going to be an amazing show. Minute Maid is such a fun place to hold a concert - I saw Taylor Swift there a few years ago and it was great. Ed has been topping the Top 40 charts for months now, so go to this show if you want to sing along.
Nov. 9: Billy Gibbons @ Revention Music Center
Billy Gibbons is a founding member of ZZ Top. Not only is he a rock legend, but he originally hails from Houston! This time, he’s playing his home city solo.
Nov. 12: Good Charlotte and Sleeping With Sirens @ House of Blues
Good Charlotte and Sleeping With Sirens are rock bands that have been around for years, so if you’re a fan, you probably already know about this show.
Nov. 14: Andy Grammer @ House of Blues
Andy Grammer is an amazing pop vocalist with catchy, feel-good songs. You’re bound to know one of his hits.
Nov. 15: Ben Rector @ Revention Music Center
Ben Rector is a pop-rock artist from Nashville. He released album “Magic” in June of this year.
Nov. 16: 3OH!3 @ White Oak Music Hall Downstairs
This is a bit of a throwback, but any late '90s kid will remember 3OH!3 from their middle school years.
Nov. 16: Lukas Nelson @ The Rustic
I saw Lukas Nelson at Jazz Fest this past year. He’s actually the son of Willie Nelson; they often play together, although Lukas has more of a bluegrass/pop sound than his father.
Nov. 23: So You Think You Can Dance: Live Tour @ Revention Music Center
So You Think You Can Dance isn’t exactly a concert, but you can catch this top dancing competition show live at Revention Music Center! Cat Deeley hosts.
Nov. 24: Blue October @ Revention Music Center
Blue October is originally from Houston! They’re an alternative rock band.
Nov. 25: Willie Nelson @ Smart Financial Centre
Surprise! Lukas Nelson’s dad made the list too! I wouldn’t be surprised if he brought his son out to play with him. Willie is a Texas staple.
Nov. 26: Pentatonix @ Smart Financial Centre
You’ve no doubt heard of Pentatonix, the a capella group known for their beautiful renditions of pop and Christmas songs, but did you know they are from Texas? The acoustics will be great at Smart Financial for this show!
Nov. 28: Daughtry @ Revention Music Center
Daughtry is a bit of a throwback, known for songs “It’s Not Over” and “What About Now.”
Nov. 30: The Band Perry @ House of Blues
Another country band for my country lovers. You know The Band Perry from hits “If I Die Young” and “Better Dig Two.”
