HISD hosted its second elementary University Interscholastic League (UIL) competition at Fondren Middle School. Nine hundred students from 30 schools competed in academic subjects like math and spelling. Condit Elementary’s UIL team (pictured) won 67 individual medals and 9 out of 12 team trophies, resulting in an overall First Place Team Sweepstakes Award. This was Condit’s second first-place win this year.
