Happy Friday! Here are some fun events to check out this weekend (and, as always, please check individual event websites for weather-related updates):

Holiday Pilgrimage Tour

Tour homes in River Oaks and Tanglewood for a good cause. The Holiday Pilgrimage Tour hosted by The Kappa Kappa Gamma Houston Alumnae Association takes place Friday-Saturday. This year's theme is "Traditions of Giving."

Snow in the Village

Regardless of Houston temperatures, every Friday and Saturday, 6-8 p.m. through Dec. 22, visit Rice Village to Let it Snow by the Christmas tree. You’ll find the Rice Village Christmas tree on University Blvd. between Banana Republic and Victoria’s Secret.

Santa’s Farm

Spring Branch Future Farmers of America program hosts its annual Santa’s Farm event on Friday, 5-8 p.m. This free event for the community jumpstarts the holiday season with crafts, hot chocolate, face painting, snacks, hayrides and photos with Santa.

10th Annual Gingerbread Build-Off

Architecture Center Houston will host the 10th Annual Gingerbread Build-Off at City Hall's Hermann Square on Saturday. Competing teams will create their masterpieces using 100 percent edible materials. Cheer on the teams, play in the kids' construction zone, enjoy food trucks and see Santa - all of the entertainment is free and open to the public.

Second Annual Jewish CultureFest

The Evelyn Rubenstein JCC presents a fun afternoon at its Jewish CultureFEst on Sunday at Levy Park. Look forward to a lineup of both local and internationally acclaimed Jewish musicians, and engaging activities for all ages.

32nd Annual Christmas Alive & Christmas Party

West University United Methodist Church's annual live nativity, Christmas Alive, will be held on Sunday with a performance and then a community-wide Christmas Party. The festivities will include food trucks, a petting zoo with donkey rides, children's crafts, hot wassail, desserts and an Instagram station.
