The Raiders

SBMSA freshman-tackle Tully Bowl champs celebrated after a hard-fought victory. The Raiders (pictured) defeated the Tigers 12-6 in the championship game. Cold temperatures and rain left the players with numb hands by halftime, but they were determined to finish the game. The Tigers took the initial lead with a 50-yard counter play in the first quarter. Then, the Raiders rallied and went ahead in the fourth quarter with a drive the length of the field. Will “Mighty Mouse” Connally wrapped up the game with a winning play in the last seven seconds. The Tully Bowl champs are (bottom row, from left) Jarrius Massey, Will Connally, Adrian Torres, Daniel Morales, Kobe Reed and Julian Ruiz; (middle row, from left) Graham Walker, Gage Rogers, Dylan Evans, Conner Johnson, Carter Oncale, Lance Malloy, Eli Dominguez, Landry Reichenau, Case Oncale, Tanner Ball and Caden Graham; and (top row, from left) coaches Justin Reichenau, Tommy Connally, Jason Rogers, Keith Malloy and Taylor Johnson.
