Carol Brejot took a trip to see the westernmost point of Europe on the Atlantic. She lived the history at the national Palace of Sintra in Portugal, which survived the Middle Ages virtually intact, and Belem in Lisbon. The trip ended with a tapas tour of old Barcelona.
