Come sing
Bellaire resident Barbara Reichlin loves to sing. She gained inspiration from choirs on YouTube and, back in 2014, started Sing!Sing!Sing!, a no-commitment pop-up choir in which Houstonians come together to sing harmonized songs. Recently, the group moved to Evelyn’s Park. Every first and third Monday, everyone – from professional voice teachers to novice shower singers of all ages – are invited to join in the two-hour singing session. The common thread is a love of singing for the joy of it. Pictured, at a recent meeting where they sang ABBA’s Take A Chance on Me, are (from left) member Sheri Teinert, guitarist Richard Gaudette, founder Barbara Reichlin, percussionist Robert Yoh and musical director Judi Messina.
