Two annual West University Place traditions – the Easter Spring Festival and Arbor Day – took place together on Saturday morning at the West U Recreation Center. Although most activities were moved indoors due to weather precautions, families still came out in droves to enjoy the bounce house, snap pictures with the Easter bunny and watch street performers. The West U Public Works Department urban forester was also onsite, giving away trees on a first-come-first serve basis.
