Supporters of Bellaire Little League raised a record-breaking amount during the BLL Gala at The Elm. The Tiras field has been susceptible to rainouts due to drainage and sunlight issues, and the goal was $100,000 to turf the infield. In 15 minutes, supporters raised $90,000, enough, when combined with other money raised from the gala, to fully do the job. Raffle chair was Jami Fowler, and basket chair was Tricia Onufer.
