Tying the knot
Seth Waldman and Ilana Mizrahi were married at Congregation Beth Yeshurun on Sept. 15. They married under a chuppah topped with white orchids set against the stained-glass windows. Ilana carried white orchids with a single yellow rose to honor the memory of Seth’s grandmother, Rosalie Danburg. The ceremony was led by Rabbis Jack Segal and David Rosen and Cantor Meir Finkelstein. A reception followed at Hotel ZaZa Museum District. The bride and groom honeymooned in Tahiti and are now home with their dog, Toby. Seth and Ilana are both graduates of Bellaire High School, though they graduated in different centuries. Parents Dr. Terry and Glenda Danburg Waldman and Rosa Mizrahi are thrilled.
