Shiner, age 5

My name is Shiner, and in front of me is my brother, Case. I am a 5-year-old White Golden Retriever, and Case is a 5-year-old English Labrador Retriever. We live with our mom and dad and have two other brothers and a sister. They are in college, and we sure do miss them. They come home sometimes, and Case and I get really excited. Each day we wake our parents around 6 a.m., and Mom feeds us. If our brothers and sisters are home, we wake them up by staring at them. If that doesn’t work, we jump on them and give them kisses. My favorite thing is to get my family’s clothes and leave them on the driveway or in the garden. Meanwhile, Case thinks he is a lap dog even though he weighs 105 pounds. Case and I enjoy going on trips to the lake and the farm, where we chase the cows until they chase us back.
