Lloyd Matzner wanted to celebrate his wife Marlene Matzner’s milestone birthday. Her favorite interests, combined, equaled a week in Sarasota, Florida. Beautiful sunsets, art, beaches and lots of seafood and drinks made it a memorable time. Their hotel, Art Ovation, has clever ways of using light and color to enhance its romantic settings. A particularly fun outing was to the Ringling Museum of Art, which showcased old masters and modern art, a perfect tribute to the modern Marlene.
